Cook Promoted to Sergeant

On September 1st. 2022 Preston Cook was promoted to Patrol Sergeant. Preston is a US Army Veteran. He came to NCSO in 2017 and has since proven himself to be an intelligent and companionate law enforcement officer. Since joining us he has obtained many certifications including Field Training Officer which allows him to train newly hired deputies, General Instructor which allows him to teach DCJS-approved classes to others, and Crisis Intervention Team Instructor which teaches law enforcement and corrections how to respond to citizens in crisis or with mental health issues. Preston is a hard worker and a natural leader. We wish him the best of luck in his new position.
